Questions Skills - LEVEL B (NEW!) This sequence of 36 lessons begins with explicit instruction on Clue Word Concepts, before strategy instruction begins. This establishes a strong conceptual foundation for explicit instruction in a simplified version of the Three Level Question Guide. The package includes a CD with all student workbooks and selected pages for display on a data projector, along with a curriculum-based assessment, Bill & Todd's Trip. These question levels have been termed generically “closed” and “open” questions and included in recent resources freely available to teachers in schools through the Strategic Questioning DVD from Curriculum Corporation. The package includes a CD with student workbooks and selected pages that can be displayed on a data projector. The package also includes the free curriculum-based assessment, Brad and His Dingoes.

Question Skills - LEVEL D This sequence of 36 lessons focuses on the Three Level Question Guide, and should provide invaluable preparation and practice for students in the year before they complete NAPLAN. Explicit strategy instruction along with independent student practice writing answers to a range of questions is provided. A full colour teacher manual for all lessons and a CD with all student workbooks is included. Selected pages for data projector or electronic whiteboard display are included on the CD.
Level D refers to the approximate level of difficulty, at about Grade 4. Teacher should use their judgement to use this resource with students (at any grade level) who need scaffolding in reading comprehension.

This package is intended for students who need additional practice, orally or in writing, of some concepts presented in the Level B Package. Regular classroom teachers might use this for homework, or for a small group of students. Some support teachers have used this program, in parallel to classroom instruction using the Level B Package. This package also includes a CD with student books that can be printed, and pages that can be displayed on a data projector.
